Privacy Policy
Voyager: Trip Companion
Effective July 16, 2026. Voyager: Trip Companion is designed to be private by default. This policy explains what the app does — and, more importantly, what it does not do — with your information.
The short version
We do not collect, sell, share, or track any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. Your content is yours.
Your content
Voyager: Trip Companion keeps everything you create on your device. Nothing you create is sent to us or to any third party, and the app does not require an account.
Voyage Kit stores your trips on your device only (local SwiftData) — there is no iCloud sync, no account, and no analytics or tracking. To show live information for a destination you enter, it fetches public data for that place only — never your identity and never your device location — from third-party services: Open-Meteo (weather and geocoding), Nager.Date (public holidays), Google News (headlines), open.er-api.com (exchange rates) and Apple Maps (nearby places). The app never requests your location; you pick destinations on a map.
What we collect
Nothing. Voyager: Trip Companion does not collect any data from you, and no data is transmitted to fnstudio. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to sell, share, or hand over.
Permissions
Voyager: Trip Companion only asks for a permission at the moment it is needed, and only for the feature you are using:
- Notifications (optional) — only if you turn on trip reminders, to notify you before a trip. Nothing is sent off your device.
Children's privacy
Voyager: Trip Companion does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
