Lingvo: Offline Translator

Effective July 17, 2026. Lingvo: Offline Translator is designed to be private by default. This policy explains what the app does — and, more importantly, what it does not do — with your information.

The short version

We do not collect, sell, share, or track any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. Your content is yours.

Your content

Lingvo: Offline Translator keeps everything you create on your device. Nothing you create is sent to us or to any third party, and the app does not require an account or an internet connection.

Every translation happens entirely on your device using on-device language models — your text, voice and photos are never uploaded and never leave your device. Lingvo has no account, no iCloud sync, no analytics and no tracking. Downloaded language packs are stored on your device so translation works fully offline.

What we collect

Nothing. Lingvo: Offline Translator does not collect any data from you, and no data is transmitted to fnstudio. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to sell, share, or hand over.

Permissions

Lingvo: Offline Translator only asks for a permission at the moment it is needed, and only for the feature you are using:

Microphone — only while you use voice translation, to hear the phrase you speak. Recognition happens on your device.
Camera — only when you translate from a photo, to capture the menu or sign. The image is processed on your device.

Children's privacy

Lingvo: Offline Translator does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
